“It was a pleasure working with you, Tim. As I mentioned, you really have all the performance tools, and all those undirectable things—intuition, energy, and, of course, talent... And I'm delighted to refer you to anyone.” [and] “Tim Lounibos possesses in abundance the talent to become a major publisher narrator-fixture…” — Paul Alan ruben, director

“I think the work you're doing here is fantastic. Your articulation is so sharp and I enjoy the way you're phrasing these sentences, bunching words together and letting the sentences fall according to the flow of thought and your interpretation of their meaning. I like the warmth you're putting into your work here as well, which is really tapping into the affection that's clearly written into the text…” — Ivuoma Hall, producer

“I know about my life--my journey through the Killing Fields of Cambodia 🇰🇭. I cheated death several times, and who knows more about my life than me... BUT Tim made it so real when he read about my parents, so impactful that tears were flowing down from both my eyes. He made me relive the reality of my past. He made it so vividly alive.” —Leth Oun, author of A Refugee’s American Dream: From the Killing Fields of Cambodia to the U.S. Secret Service

“Tim Lounibos did an incredible job voicing a character who needed a distinct sound—a deep, raspy voice. Tim delivered the voice in dialogue perfectly while the non-dialogue narrative was smooth, voicing that character’s internal thoughts without distraction.” — USA Today bestselling author Rachel Grant on Tim’s narration for THE BURIED HOURS (writing as R.S. Grant)

"Tim Lounibos did an astounding job bringing life to my characters. His narration was dynamic and engaging in a way that drove the pace of the novel. His ability to clearly voice several characters in a scene, all in different ways, is a true talent." — Kelly ohlert, author of the romance book let’s get quizzical

your typical multiracial asian american country boy to hollywood story…

When arriving in Hollywood, critics considered Tim Lounibos at the forefront of an “exciting new breed of Asian American actors” with “widespread mainstream appeal”—graced with “charisma” and performances which they called “absolutely luminous” and “remarkable”—but that was the 90s when quality inclusive casting was still decades away.

In almost thirty years, Tim has carved out a worthy career covering film, tv, commercials, animated voice over, and theatre where he co-founded the acclaimed and groundbreaking Asian American theatre Lodestone Theatre Ensemble. credits include recurring roles on bosch, the west wing, jag, and beverly hills: 90210; and he’s most recently been seen on netflix’s i think you should leave, fbi: most wanted, ncis: los angeles, ncis, and hawaii five-0. Tim also has the distinction of being part of the star trek universe 3x over via on-camera as well as voice over appearances and is thrilled to be on his very own action and game cards. In addition to acting, this mixed-race Asian American honed his producing and administrative skills by co-artistic directing Lodestone, being development manager for aMedia Inc., producing Los Angeles’ Ovation Awards, producing the Ammy Awards which celebrated Asian Americans in film and tv, and being the business administrator for East West Players—the nation’s largest, longest-running, and premier Asian American theatre.

An avid reader since childhood and talented actor who loved reading to his own kids with a myriad of voices, Tim draws upon his full and rich life history for audiobook narration:  growing up Asian out in the “country” surrounded by a sea of white (mostly positive but laced with cutting pain), being the class leader and star athlete who was also a huge fantasy and sci-fi geek, experiencing an adventurous, enlightening, and at-times crazy college life at UC Berkeley, soaking in a myriad of cultural interactions and exchanges from various acting and producing travels throughout Asia and Europe

Tim is extremely gratified to proclaim that he is a loving and nurturing father and husband whose favorite times are spent playing board games, doing escape rooms, and going on spur-of-the-moment getaways with his family. His voice has been described as rich, soothing, gritty, playful, and honest, and he finds himself attracted to giving voice to conflicted heroes and misunderstood characters, trusted and wise elders, and sinister antagonists (while utilizing a country twang whenever it makes sense). Favorite genres include mystery/thrillers, crime, fantasy/sci-fi, children’s, ya, self-help, finance, and biographies. When not acting or having fun with his family, Tim loves screenwriting, exploring the outdoors, and laughing and hanging with his friends.
